SB218 creates a new voting center in Pike County to serve specified precincts at a church location and takes effect after the governor approves it.
If passed, the bill adds an additional polling location in Pike County for voters in newly revised Precinct 18, District 4 and newly established Precinct 35, District 6. The center will be located at Hephzibah Baptist Church, 2701 Henderson Highway, Troy, AL 36079. The act only applies to Pike County and becomes effective immediately after passage and the governor's approval (or when it becomes law otherwise).
