Title

Relating to public K-12 school athletics; to provide for the payment of fines levied on a student for violations of an athletic association's eligibility policies by a school.

Description

Under existing law, a student or a student's parent or legal guardian must pay any fines, fees, or other penalties levied against the student or guardian for violations of the eligibility policies of an athletic association.

This bill would require a public K-12 school to pay any fines, fees, or other penalties charged to a student or the guardian of the student for a violation of the eligibility policies of an athletic association.
