House Local Legislation Hearing
Room 617 at 13:21:00

Autauga County authorizes the sheriff to hold fundraising events, including rodeos, and to use the proceeds to support the sheriff's office.
If passed, the Autauga County sheriff can organize fundraising events such as rodeos. The money raised can be used for any lawful purpose related to running the sheriff's office. The act also says these provisions are remedial and curative and that sheriff actions following them are ratified. It becomes effective immediately after the governor signs it.
