Senate RULES Hearing
Suite 726 at 11:00:00

A joint resolution designates a segment of Interstate 22 in Alabama as the James D. Brown Highway to honor a longtime state transportation employee.
If enacted, a portion of Interstate 22 from the Mississippi border to the Marion/Walker county line would be named the James D. Brown Highway. The Alabama Department of Transportation must approve the designation and work with local officials to place signs or markers recognizing it. The Department will pay for and maintain the signage.
