General Information

Who is Scott Stadthagen?
Scott Stadthagen

Prior to running for office, I have always held a strong belief in leadership and teamwork. Through my time on the football field, I learned the need for both. This is also true in our communities. It's through our combined efforts and shared interests that we are able to create a community in which we can flourish.

I received a football scholarship to West Alabama 1996-2002 and obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from West Alabama in 2002. I am currently the owner of Hagen Homes, Inc. since 2005.

I have been married to Amy Peck Stadthagen, of Hartselle since 2009 and is the father to four-year-old Collins. We are members of Hartselle First Baptist Church. I enjoy spending time with family, working in the community and following college sports.

I am active in our community as Chair of the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce, member of the Economic Development group of Hartselle, member of Morgan County Builders Association, member of Hartselle Rotary, Hartselle Kiwanis, Leadership of Hartselle and the National Rifle Association.

I want to be the people’s voice and represent all of the communities that make up District 9. Ensuring that our area sees results from my time spent in Montgomery. Across District 9, our school systems are the foundation of our communities. We need to make sure they are treated as such.

Through staying involved in our communities, my goal is to ensure that the people of this district are represented in Montgomery. The representation that helps our area capitalizes on economic development, improved infrastructure, and continued educational excellence. Our rich history of pulling together and utilizing our resources will be the foundation that creates opportunities for the next generation of District 9 families and businesses.
