Description

Sections 199 and 200 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, require the Legislature to redistrict and reapportion the Alabama Senate and the House of Representatives following the release of each federal decennial census.

This bill would divide the state into districts for the purpose of electing members of the Alabama Senate until the next federal census is released.
