- Relating to abortion; to repeal Section 13A-13-7, Code of Alabama 1975, providing for criminal penalties for inducing or attempting to induce an abortion, miscarriage, or premature delivery.

Under existing law, any person who induces or attempts to induce an abortion, miscarriage, or premature delivery is guilty of a misdemeanor.
This bill would repeal the law providing that it is a misdemeanor to induce or attempt to induce an abortion, miscarriage, or premature delivery.
