HB196 would extend the Alabama Professional Bail Bonding Board's existence and authority through October 1, 2024.
It keeps the Alabama Professional Bail Bonding Board operating and regulating bail bond activities through Oct. 1, 2024 under the rules in Code sections 15-13-200 to 15-13-219. The extension follows a Sunset Committee recommendation and makes the continuation effective immediately after the bill is passed and signed by the governor.
