HB201 would extend the State Board for Registration of Architects in Alabama through October 1, 2027.
The bill keeps the architect board operating and allows it to continue regulating architects under the existing laws (Sections 34-2-30 to 34-2-42). It follows the Sunset Committee’s recommendation to continue the board and preserves the current legal framework. It becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor, or otherwise when it becomes law.
