Designates the first Friday in May as Alabama Peace Officers' Memorial Day and allows the Alabama State Fraternal Order of Police to hold an annual Fallen Officer Memorial Service at the State Capitol. Allows counties and municipalities to elect to observe the day as a holiday. Urges residents to reflect on the sacrifices of Alabama law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and governor approval.
