- Relating to the Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners; to amend Section 34-29-67, Code of Alabama 1975, to increase the daily stipend for board members; and to authorize the board to increase the amount of the daily stipend at its discretion by rule.
- Description
Under existing law, the members of the Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners receive a daily stipend for each day, or portion of a day, in which the member is actually engaged in the work of the board.
This bill would increase the amount of the daily stipend for board members from two hundred dollars ($200) to six hundred dollars ($600).
