- Description
Under existing law, a person is not eligible to receive temporary cash payments under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program if he or she has been convicted of a drug-related felony.
This bill would require applicants for temporary cash payments under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF) to disclose any felony conviction under penalty of perjury.
This bill would provide that a person is not eligible to receive temporary cash payments under TANF if he or she has been convicted of any felony.
