- Conservation and Natural Resources Dept., feral swine, rules re transportation and release, penalties, specified penalty for transportation deleted, transportation of feral swine not a criminal offense, Sec. 9-11-72 am'd.
- Description
Under existing law, the violation of any rule of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources prohibiting the transportation and release of live feral swine is a Class B misdemeanor punishable as provided by law except the offense is subject to a minimum fine of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500).
This bill would delete the transportation of live feral swine from the specified criminal penalties of this law.
The bill would also specify that the transportation of live feral swine would not be a criminal offense.
