- Description
Under existing practice, state agencies are required to purchase personal property from a statewide contract established by the Department of Finance's Division of Purchasing, if a contract exists for that item.
This bill will allow state agencies to purchase personal property from vendors not on statewide contract, if the purchase price is at least ten percent less than the statewide contract price.
