Who is Joe Lovvorn?
Joe Lovvorn

Joseph Floy Lovvorn, born September 5, 1976. Joe grew up in Graham, Alabama. Joe is the son of Terry and Sherry Lovvorn. Joe and his sister, Susan, grew up understanding the basics of life. Their father was a farmer and their mother was a school teacher. Joe purchased his first cattle at the age of five and still returns to the family farm for peace and quiet. He attended Woodland High School and was a Hugh O’Bryan Youth Leader recipient.

Joe attended Auburn University, graduating with a degree from the College of Agriculture in 1999. He immediately returned to the College of Business, where he finished his MBA in 2000. While attending Auburn University, Joe became a student firefighter. He was promoted to a career firefighter after completing his education at Auburn. In the years following, Joe has been promoted to Team Leader, then Lieutenant, and he is currently a Battalion Chief.

Joe has assumed various other roles during his lifetime. He became a Realtor about 15 years ago. His real estate career lead him to open a small local business. He is the owner/franchisee of Two Men and a Truck, Auburn/Montgomery. As a business owner, Joe has become very involved in the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and is a board member. The Chamber honored Joe in 2011 with the Spirit of Auburn Award. The award was in recognition of the dedication of time and resources for the 2011 tornado relief in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Joe was in the 2005/2006 Alabama Cooperative Extension Service Agricultural and Business Leadership Program, where he traveled the State of Alabama to study both areas with a concentration in economic development. Joe became a Rotarian in 2015. He attends Cornerstone Church. Joe is married to Jenifer Bigelow Lovvorn. Jenifer worked for Auburn City Schools for 15 years. She resigned in 2014 to focus on raising their two children, Jackson (9) and Landon (7). Jenifer and Joe are both Realtors at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
