Actually, all we can do is point out the obvious, are they “Standing Tall”, screwing y’all, or are they not even standing up at all?

The truth is that our election process and our voting rights are currently under attack by those who believe that it’s acceptable to put their thumbs on the scale to win elections through gerrymandering and voter suppression.

That’s why bipartisanship is almost impossible right now. Republicans are more interested in fueling imagined controversy than they are in addressing any of the critical issues facing our nation and our state.

In the chaotic aftermath of Trump’s failed insurrection and the Republican echo chamber mindlessly blasting out the Big Lie, it’s become evident that the GOP has no significant interest other than retaining power at all…

Somehow, Republicans even managed to make a mockery of the old saying, “The House always wins”, by completely screwing up lottery and gaming legislation.

Vowing to repair that which is not broken has become the new tactic for conservatives to advance their agenda of voter suppression…

Let’s be perfectly crystal clear here: The only monuments in question are CONFEDERATE monuments.

No matter, it sure sounded good to his base and he was able to squeeze in a few references about how Trump magically made America great again.

What began as a breeze is starting to shape up as a strong political wind. If Alabama Democrats continue along their new path, the state may be in for some big and positive changes soon.

Ending the “Uncivil War” means defending the truth and remembering that, as Americans, we’re all on the same side. It also means holding people accountable in a fair and dignified manner in the public square.
